Blackout Dessert Healthy Paleo Chocolate Cake. The best chocolate-free chocolate cake made from sweet potatoes and avocados! A simple Palio birthday or a damp and delicious party cake.
INGREDIENTS
Cake
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 2 cups raw sweet potato minced
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup black cocoa powder or regular
Frosting
- 1 3/4 cup sweet potato cubed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup avocado
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup soft medjool dates pitted
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350F. Cover the bottom of a 6-inch cake box with circles of parchment paper.
- Cut sweet potatoes into processed food. In the blender, mix all ingredients of the cake in a soft mixture.
- Divide the mixture between the cake boxes. Bake at 45 ° C for 45 to 50 minutes and leave to cool in the refrigerator while brushing.
- For cracking, steam the sweet potato cubes, then drain the water and cool in an ice bath until cool. Mix the glass ingredients in the food processor until smooth and cool until cooked. See recipe notes on how to prepare the cake. Store in the refrigerator.
