This potato cake loaded with potatoes is easy and full of flavor! It's the best quiche recipe easy to spend the holidays or evening dinner!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked ham
- 1 1/2 cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes thawed (*see post above for making own hashbrowns)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 3 green onions sliced (about 3 tbsp)
- 3 slices bacon crisply cooked, crumbled
- 3/4 cup milk
- 5 eggs
- Additional sliced green onions if desired
- Sour cream if desired
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 350 ° F
- Press the base of the cake in the 9-inch cake dish and reduce the edges if desired.
- Sprinkle pork, wedges of potatoes, cheese and green onions in the crust. In medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper until added. Pour the ingredients into the crust.
- Bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes until the knife in the middle comes out clean. Leave for 10-15 minutes before serving with bacon, sour cream, onion and cheese if desired.
